Medical Emphasis Trips (Sierra Leone & Haiti)
The purpose of a medical trip with WHI is an opportunity for health professionals to share their gifts with people in villages and areas that are often overlooked, including children. Make a difference by setting up a daytime clinic and providing simple medical and health care. Or partner with WHI in-country staff with various medical programs developed in these countries, providing education and training and more.
2019 Dates to be Determined
Internships (Sierra Leone & Cambodia)
International internships work well with WHI programs in the areas of physical therapy, anti-trafficking, and medical, social enterprise. Students from various universities such as Indiana Wesleyan (IN) and Loma Linda (CA) have worked closely with WHI staff and leaders in Sierra Leone to meet the requirements of their internships, and our Teams Coordinator provides all the travel arrangements and logistics. Internships can be arranged for individual students or small groups and for various lengths of time, usually six weeks to three months.
