Dr. Norieta Balderrama is a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist at the Philippine General Hospital, Child Protection Unit. She is also a Professor at the College of Medicine -University of the Philippines Manila. She is also the chair of the Department of Psychiatry at the University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center, Inc. She likewise is a consultant Psychiatrist at St.Luke’s Medical Center and The Medical City. Dr. Balderrama previously served as the chairperson of the Philippine Board of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and President of the Philippine Psychiatric Association. Dr. Balderrama has worked for years as a consultant to major programs of the government and NGOs on child protection and treatment of survivors.
